Duties & Responsibilities
- Knowledge in stores management activities such as receiving, storage, and issuing.
- Knowledge in material planning and control activities such as mini-max, re-order level, ABC analysis, and non-moving items.
- Knowledge of standard practices, procedures, and equipment used in the receipt, storage, and disbursement of supplies and materials.
- Knowledge of a variety of items like food & beverage, consumables, office stationery, cleaning material, and general stores.
- Ability to manage the physical loading, unloading, storage, identification, and preservation of the stores.
- Tracking the expiry of each product, periodic physical stock verification from time to time, and annual stock verification.
- Work together with user departments to ensure that required products are made available to user departments.
- Daily management of the overall material stores and listing the requirements to maintain minimum stock value.
- Coordinate and timely follow-ups with the purchase department for material order follow-ups, delivery, and processing.
- Ensure appropriate FIFO rotation is in place and report any near-expiry products.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual material comparison and comparison reports.
- Ensure all invoices are timely compiled and data entry done before forwarding the documents to Finance.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Knowledge in ERP and computer skills.
