Duties & Responsibilities:

Provide the highest level of comfort and hospitality to all guests as per Wonderla Resort Standards. Achieve total guest satisfaction by providing service, which is the best in class, and maximize organizational profitability through effective utilization of all resources.

Managerial
  • Forecasting trends in occupancy, budget for room sales, average rate and other revenue.
  • Achieve Budgeted ARR of the resort.
  • Effectively Manage the entire FO team to achieve the objectives of the resort.
  • Staffing and Scheduling of the department and allocation of duties.
  • Develop systems and procedures that achieve higher cost efficiency and guest satisfaction.
  • Facilitate learning and development for all the team members of the department.
  • Performance Appraisal/ Management of the staff in the department.
  • Must be able to work a flexible schedule and be “on-call” for weekends, emergencies or for anyone who “call’s off” of a scheduled shift.
  • Must have basic working knowledge of a computer including word and also have good knowledge on WINHMS/related Resort PMS.
  • Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with many types of personalities.
  • Must display very good organization and time management skills.

Operational
  • Implement strategies for optimization of sale of rooms inventory and maximization of Average room rate.
  • Monitor OTA sales. Improve OTA performance.
  • Ensure inventories are released online and closely follow up online bookings.
  • Ensure coordination with Park for amusement park tickets for guests.
  • Check the daily arrival list for all packages and plan the guest check-in.
  • Deal with various tour operators, travel agents and negotiate rates with them
  • Conduct training programmes on Resort information, rates and product features for the department staff.
  • Maintain indoor/outdoor activities of the resort.
  • Conduct daily briefing of the staff and address guest complaints, compliments and suggestions.
  • Monitor daily performance and manage revenue through revenue and yield management techniques.
  • Ensure through regular monitoring of guest feedback. Provide prompt, efficient and accurate service to all guests.
  • Manage the Guest History System and effectively use the guest profiles
  • Review the monthly business reports and analyze market and occupancy trends
  • Ensure that all the operational standards set for all the equipment & processes are followed.
  • Work in association with the Exec Housekeeper for effective room management.
  • Work closely with the BD team for group bookings, Credit monitoring, and releasing event orders.
  • Maintain regular contact with corporate and individual customers, and build strong relationships with them.
  • Stay informed about local, national and international best practices/trends in accommodations management.
  • Ensure Lobby and reception area are as per the Wonderla Resort Standard.
