Duties & Responsibilities

  • Ability to communicate with guests and anticipate their needs.
  • Ability to smile and diffuse anger naturally.
  • Have an enthusiastic and positive personality.
  • Profound knowledge of customer service and all beverage products and services. 

     

Efficiency and obedience

  • Responsible for efficient work in work areas.
  • Responsible for coordinating all service requirements addressed to Room Service.
  • Handle guest calls and maintain very good telephone etiquette.
  • Communicate with the kitchen regarding the menu, the length of wait, recook orders, and product availability.
  • Responsible for punching KOT, BOT, and NC KOT of the food and beverage orders into the system.
  • Responsible for coordinating guest amenities to be placed on time.
  • Directly involved in the order-taking and order-placing process while dealing with guest requests and orders.
  • Should take follow-up for room and floor clearance.
  • Recognize repeat guests.
  • Should follow the standard procedures.
  • Ensure prompt, courteous, and efficient service at all times.
  • Excellent conversation skills and selling and upselling techniques at all times.
  • Be knowledgeable of all services, facilities, and products offered by the hotel.
  • Pay attention to guest orders, and know the menu and promotions thoroughly.
  • Ensure proper handover is given to the next shift person.
  • Responsible for assisting the Captain or Restaurant Manager in achieving high scores on guest satisfaction feedback.

 

Hygiene and personal grooming

  • Should have good personal grooming.
  • Responsible for giving hygienic service to guests.
  • Must take a daily bath and proper shave.
  • Be presentable in front of the guest.

 

General

  • Come in duty punctual with proper grooming
  • Proper greetings with staffs and guest
  • Make sure all the mis en place and mis en secene
  • Check all the f&b outlets including floor pantries and floors
  • Greet the guest with a smile and present the menu
  • Inform the guest about our specialty and make up sells
  • Good commutation with guest and make sure provide assistance of all their quires
  • Well Co ordination with kitchen staffs 
  • Must have good menu knowledge
  • Good eye contact and body language
  • Make sure the proper clearance and closing
  • Make sure the proper inventory and breakage
  • Well aware of our property
