RESERVATION ASSISTANT

Report to: Supervisor – Front Office
 

Experience:
1. Uses suggestive selling techniques to sell rooms and to promote other services of the hotel
2. Knows the location and types of available rooms as well as the activities and services of the property.
3. Coordinates room status updates with the housekeeping department by notification housekeeping of all check outs, late checkouts, early chek-ins, special requests, and day use rooms.
4. Possesses a working knowledge of the reservations department. Takes same day reservations and future reservations when necessary. Knows cancellation procedures
5. Process guest check-outs.
6. Performing cashier related functions like posting charges to guest accounts, raising paid out's, currency exchange
7. Works closely with the housekeeping department in the keeping room status reports up to date and coordinates requests for maintenance and repair work.
8.Uses proper telephone etiquette
9. Maintains the cleanliness and neatness of the front desk area
 


Qualification Requirements:
1. Level of Education: Diploma/Graduate in Hotel Management
2.Work Experience: 2 yrs+
3. Age Group: 20 yrs – 25 yrs

1. Menu Planning and Food presentations
2. Help in the preparation and design of all food and drinks menu
3. Produce high quality plates both design and taste wise
4. Ensure that the kitchen operates in a timely way that meets our quality standards
5. Help in the preparation and design of all food and drinks menu
6. Resourcefully solve any issues that arise and seize control of any problematic situation
7. Manage and train kitchen staff, establish working schedule and assess staff’s performance
8.Order supplies to stock inventory  appropriately
9. Comply with and enforce sanitation regulations and safety standards
10. Maintain a positive and professional approach with coworkers and customers

5. Carryout any duties As & when directed by chef
