2. Cleaning rooms includes duties such as changing bed linens and emptying trash as well as vacuuming carpets and dusting furniture
3. Replenish guest supplies, such as hand soap and shampoo
4. Responsible for cleaning common areas, such as banquet and meeting rooms

FRONT OFFICE ASSISTANT
Business Unit: Wonderla Resort
Department: Front Office
Location: Bangalore
Report to:Supervisor - Front Office
 

Experience:

1. Uses suggestive selling techniques to sell rooms and to promote other services of the hotel
2. Knows the location and types of available rooms as well as the activities and services of the property.
3. Coordinates room status updates with the housekeeping department by notification housekeeping of all check outs, late checkouts, early chek-ins, special requests, and day use rooms.
4. Possesses a working knowledge of the reservations department. Takes same day reservations and future reservations when necessary. Knows cancellation procedures
5. Process guest check-outs.
6. Performing cashier related functions like posting charges to guest accounts, raising paid out's, currency exchange
7. Works closely with the housekeeping department in the keeping room status reports up to date and coordinates requests for maintenance and repair work.
8. Uses proper telephone etiquette
9. Maintains the cleanliness and neatness of the front desk area

2. Deliver superior guest services and ensure absolute customer satisfaction.
3. Respond efficiently to customer complaints.
4. Enforce and offer the best quality of products possible.
5. Organize and supervise shifts.
6. Appraise personnel’s performance and provide feedback to keep them upbeat and productive.
7. Estimate consumption, forecast requirements and maintain inventory.
8. Track compliance with sanitation and safety rules and regulations.
9. Control costs and cut waste.
10. Nurture a positive working environment and lead by example as restaurant supervisor.
11. Track operations and start corrective actions.
